TNUOS Standing Charge – Latest forecast for 27-28

The first electricity bills with the large increases in TNUOS daily charges that took effect from April 2026 are landing at this very moment. So what better time for the updated forecast from NESO for the April 2027 rates to arrive!

Focussing on charging bands HV1 to EHV3 as they are where the higher rates are and affect most of our clients:

First the good news

They are (on average) 15% less than the previous forecast issued in August 2025.

The bad news

They are (on average) 23% more than the April 2026 rates which were already a big increase compared with April 2025.

Overall, they represent a 107% increase since April 2025.
